He has good football genes, grandfather and uncle are local football legends up at Corowa.

Thanks mate! Any more detail? Were they forwards too?

Concern remains he won't get to us, seems big mids and talls in recent years are not lasting to our turn or we just don't pick em.

Surely the athletic ability has people drooling and the upside is enormous if he works out.

So if we want him, by what mechanism do we get him, ?
I thought it was Rookie then promote?

Rookies don't need to be promoted now they can be selected at any time that is my understanding.

We can take him in if we want him in the SSP, now!

Ot it is the mid season rookie draft. If we have a spot available.

In the interim I'd be signing him to our VFL program

Tiger71 reckons he's been told Bradtke will get the nod as our supplementary pick [on Feb 15] due to list structure (forward depth) as well as based on what he's shown training with us: an aggressive forward who can play multiple positions.

Club has been impressed with Narkle as well and has told him he'll be our midseason draft pick if he isn't picked up by another club.

It’s Tiger71 so we can start planning for Narkle on our list
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

We don’t have a list spot if we take a SSP to be able to take a player in the MSD unless there’s a retirement or long term injury. So that last sentence atleast is false.

Either that or someone isn't doing well with an injury like Gibcus and they don't wanna rush him back

I don’t know very much about the long term injury list but wouldn’t putting a player on there without any list spots available mean they can’t appear for the season?
