Unpopular opinion, thought I system held up ok that quarter. Just could not get a clear scoring shot, even though we had chances to do something around half forward.

If that’s our system holding up, then our system sucks.

I don’t understand why the umpires are calling play on for us?

What’s happened to our clearances?

it’s like we are waiting to get beaten!

Embarrassing 1st half.

VFL level skills at the moment

Have to say I'm worried about Dylan Grimes a shadow of the player he was.

Ryan better in the ruck than nank. Grimes’ performance on a steady down tread. If it’s because they are captain then take it off them.

Only positive is we're "only" 19 points down. Should be 10 goals down. That first half was simply embarrassing. Apart from our backline who have stood up so far under immense pressure and a stack of Collingwood inside 50s, this has been miles from basic AFL standard. Time for a rocket for our mids and especially our lazy half-forwards and small forwards who are always out of position at contests.

Our leaders are our worst players.

Grimes - rubbish
Prestia - worse game I’ve seen
Taranto - rubbish
Cotchin - too old
Lynch - rubbish and slow
Reiwoldt- old slow
Nankervis - Dinosaur
Vlaustin - terrible

Our youngsters are doing ok considering the leaders are playing like poo.

Too lazy and not working hard enough
The club that keeps giving.

Very hard watch.

Think the defense has been excellent (bar a couple of shocking kicks)

Work rate in middle isn't matching Pies. Our forwarding is a mess. Cumberland just needs to play I don't want any replies. There I no dangerous option on lead except for Lynch. Too easy to defend. Jack is too slow, which is fine but we need a better number 2 so Jack can be 3rd key forward.

Nankervis can't be captain anymore. I'm sorry but his leadership is junk. I'd almost make Liam Baker captain.

Can't be having 34 and 35 yo dominating possessions in the wet. Unacceptable.

MRJ does not know what to do with the ball in his hands, unless he is within 30m of goal where he can have a shot. Just fumbles, hesitates and either turns it over or gets run down.

This in a nutshell.

I'm very concerned of our lack of forwards for some time. George went backwards. Maurice has a tick bag but is constantly confused. Cumberland burst on scene and throw away. We've thrown Balta up there, Baker, Graham, Cotchin. I'm honestly clueless as to what our forwarding stands for..

I am also worried about Grimes. His decision making this year has been horrible and his one on one work has dropped off a cliff.

Balta backing up last week. Thank goodness.

Hugo in the last 10 mins was very good as that defensive sweeper/quarterback. Actually, one Tiger showing a steady head.

I didn't think Grimes or Floss were bad. Our back six have been under continually the pump thanks to the easy way the ball is coming into the Pies' forward line. Actually, think our back six have done reasonably well considering.

Sure the Pies have missed a few but we're not losing and playing crap because of our backline. If you said the Pies would only have 28 points at half-time you'd take it. It's our mids and forwards that have been headless chooks that need the rocket and criticism with and without the footy. Been pathetic! Amateur hour  :banghead.

Actually MJR has been one of our better players. Certainly at ground level that's what it looks like. Only bloke offering any defensive pressure in our F50

And yes I'm being serious

Sub out Jack, get Bolton around the footy, keep applying pressure. We might limit this to a 50 point drubbing.

The last 10 mins we balanced up general play. We started to get more of the ball and even some inside 50s. But our decision making and execution was still crap.
