Much better footy in 3rd but just too much unacceptable stuff.

1. Picking 3 slow tall forwards in the wet. With no Dusty why isn't Noah playing from start.
2. Laird and now Sidebottom have just absolutely carved us up in the middle.
3. Too many passengers tonight. Lynch was hopeless on a reject Crows defender and not in Pies Best 22. Pickett shocking. Maurice continues to look very lost when he has the ball. Compared to Cumberland who everytime had the ball knew exactly what he was doing, weaving through traffic to free himself up on his left and lowered his eyes every time.
4. No ball users. When Rioli isn't run and carrying we don't have anyone with good enough skills to hit targets so we kick to contests and we got absolutely smashed when ball hit the ground. Judson Clarke looks to be the next best, maybe Bolton but he too often doesn't use it well, but ge this is really disappointing to have an entire list of AFL players and not any elite ball users. Collingwood have an absolute plethora.

Yeah missed Tarrant, Broad, Dusty and Hopper but we are absolutely miles off the best. Need to change things if we don't want to just make up numbers like last year. If Pies can turn Sidebottom into a elite wingman again we can do the same but need be better in many areas.

Agree Wayne. Lots of half effort complacency out there. I just wish somebody would tackle SideBottom.

And smash his bald head into the turf..

Can’t happen as he is way too smart for that

And that sums us up. Open target inside F50 and we kick it OOTF!  :P

As I said, poor Marlion has had a mare. Worst game he's ever played.
.

Our senior players have been really really poor.

They have Pendlebury Sidebottom Mitchell Adams all playing like they are young bucks but ours are playing like they should have retired two seasons ago.
The club that keeps giving.

Well, Beaker coming on after half time and being instantly instrumental in two goals was a plus. As one of the vom-entators said (sorry if it was you, Richo), he plays better at AFL level than VFL - as many here have also observed.

C'mon Tiges, big last quarter, please?

The mids have been smashed tonight.

Yep very little pressure in there

To allow deGoey to stand on hid own at centre bounces is pathetic

This reminds me of the Melbourne Anzac Eve game last year. We've been just substandard and are only 'close-ish' on the scoreboard because the opposition were inaccurate. Only difference is we've won the clearances which makes tonight even worse. We are getting our hands on the ball first but just coughing it up so meekly or just plain butchering it.

How long have the umps giving Pies players to dispose

2 tackles in the last. De Goey in middle gave up and sat on ball.. finally giving holding the ball. Then Bolton tackle in F50 was ball every day of the week. Daicos had like 4 steps lol
