It's likely to be wet weather footy. So, I'm guessing all the ins will be smalls/mids.

Broad -> Hugo
Short -> Ross
Martin -> Mansell (expecting Dimma will try him as a defensive forward again)
Hopper -> Dow/Sonsie

Clarke the sub.

I know in Dimma's own words that Cumberland and Dusty now play the same roles in the forward line, but Dusty can be thrown into the centre as well. Plus, Cumberland's game in the VFL on the weekend was pretty ordinary. If Cumberland does come into the side then I see it more due to the wet weather to replace a tall forward like Ryan. Harsh on Samson as he did his job last week, but if the ball going to spend most of the time at ground level, we don't need to play 3 tall forwards.

Broad - McIntosh (When Broad went down in the 2020 GF KMac was sent back).  This is Dimma's go to move.
Mansell in for Short and will tag Nick Daicos
Dow for Hopper
Cumberland for Dusty
Clarke to replace KMac on the wing.

Sub likely to be Ross but prefer Sonsie.

Out: Hopper, Dusty, Broad, Short
In: Sonsie, Cumberland, Miller, Ross

Mansell stays the sub or swap him for Hugo/Clarke

I liked most of your suggestions but I don’t agree that Dow is ahead of Sonsie or Ross.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Hugo but was a little disappointing in VFL game from what I saw.

Hardwick will have a handful of fringe players to choose from to face the Magpies, with Hugo Ralphsmith, Noah Cumberland, Tyler Sonsie, Judson Clarke, Jack Ross and Thomson Dow all taking part in Thursday's captain's run.

The Tigers' selection committee won't let the forecasted wet weather influence their decision-making for this week, with their tall contingent of Tom Lynch, Jack Riewoldt, Samson Ryan and Toby Nankervis still in line to combine against the Magpies, who are without ruck-forward Mason Cox for the coming rounds.

Ralphsmith firms as a likely option to plug a gap in Hardwick's rearguard, while Jack Ross and Tyler Sonsie will be in the frame as further midfield assistance.

Veteran Trent Cotchin is likely to see his midfield minutes spike after sharing his time in attack to start this season, while Shai Bolton may also be thrown into the middle to potentially allow the likes of Cumberland and Clarke to secure spots at selection.

All the forced outs.

Ins:
Sonsie
Cumberland
Miller
Probably Ross based on VFL form although I don't rate him

'Spy' says Miller also there today.

Will be interesting to see whether they pick Cumberland off 5 tackles and minimal possessions.

Cumberland, Clarke and Sonsie all better players at the higher level.
Time to unleash them.
