Dow wins the HTB from the start. Gets to Ross who finds McDonagh 40m by the boundary. Across the face doesn't make the distance and poor play by our forwards to allow a uncontested mark by the Casey ruckman on the line.

We get a chance from the kick-in but a turnover allows Casey to rebound forward for a goal.

Good defensive mark/free to Bauer.

We get it to HF but the kick to runners (including Green) running to the open goalsquare goes over their heads and trickles for a point.

Casey goes coast to coast for a goal. We can't stop them defensively going the other way rebounding out of our F50.

Ball-up 40 out. Casey pinged for a throw. Set shot by May from 45. Misses to the right.

Ross with 5 disposals already.

Bauer doing well on Ben Brown so far wins the free on the wing. Gets to Ross who goes across ground and it eventually gets to Cooper 45 out. Kick falls short again but Olden wins the free. Kicks the goal  .

We've had a couple of good chances out the back in the last 5 mins but basic skill errors and fumbles by our VFL-listers has cost us.

ps. You can't just drop the ball in the tackle, ump.

Nice run and poise by Ross finds Olden on the siren 48 out. Again, we can't make the distance. No score.

Actually, done well enough in the contested footy/stoppages lead by Ross and Dow. Problem is we have too many VFL-listers who aren't clean or not strong enough in the tackle against Casey's AFL-listers like Hahms. Not sure if there's a breeze or not but we had 3 shots from 40-ish out that failed to make the distance.

El Nour went off with a knee. Not sure how bad. So that's another tall down in our VFL side by the sound of it .

Green push forces the OOTF at HB. It eventually gets to McDonagh 45 out. Floats it out to the right but it doesn't swing back enough.
