Disastrous. Cumberland just has to play, I can not believe it. This just shows that the selection panel hasnt smelt the roses yet

Another week and another perplexing team selection. That's one odd looking forward line :-\.

Not sure how Hugo gets a promotion either. His last quarter and a bit in the VFL was good when he kicked two goals, but he was terrible before that. Given it's going to be wet, I don't know why both Hugo and Clarke are named in the same side. It's going to be a territory battle in the wet; not a running game.

Drop a proven goalkicker. Bring in someone whose strength is not winning contested football when it is going to be wet
Poor Dow. Does nothing wrong in reserves and best he gets is an emergency. What is going on

Don't think that's how they will line up

Don't get the Hugo promotion or Cumberland, Sonsie being dropped

Wonder if they will look at dropping Miller on game day if the weather is as bad as being forecast

Comedy capers and denial reign supreme at tigerland.
I know there are a lot of injuries but ffs talk about head in the sand poo.

Okay clearly Miller will be there to play in defense!!!.

Banks and Dow have done more than enough to warrant a game but we go back to the favorites well for the umpteenth time.

Bolton is the bloke who has the most x factor and is a fwd as well as a mid. Play him primarily as a fwd.
Cumberland is clearly not in the purple circle seems they have been waiting for an opportunity to drop him.

How the hell they keep on ignoring the need to play another tall fwd is beyond me.Bauer really should be given a game in the fwd half and failing that Nyuon while not a fwd has been in good form so what stops us from trying him fwd.Seems we can play favorite mids forward but not the younger blokes who are on the outer.

Like RC-D last year you have to ask what does Dow have to do to get a go. What the hell has he done to fall so far out of favour.

Sosie has a few quite games and hes out the door why doesnt it apply to others there are no runs in the bank for any of them just stick to the kids and actually back em in.

The following is not an outlandish team it is imo making the most of a bad position.

 B: Grimes - Miller - Vlastuin.
Grimes and Vlastuin have been mostly awful but you never see them cop it in the neck. I wonder if they can even acknowledge where Miller has shown the most.

HB: Rioli - Balta -
Broad. About as good as we can do here atm.

C: Pickett - Martin - Banks.
Just reward Banks he has played some good footy in the two's but no Hugo is a favorite go figure. He also  has to be a better winger than Ross who they continue to destroy playing out of position. Play Martin midfield as much as possible. Marlion is our best winger atm play him there instead of playing him fwd taking a kids role. If i was going to play Marlion elsewhere it would be in Vlastuins role down back.

R: Soldo - Hopper - Dow.
Reward Dow he deserves a chance to start here in the role. Soldo is the best 1st ruck option atm and Hopper gives em a big body with dusty.

HF: Taranto - Riewoldt - Cumberland.
Okay Taranto and Dusty as big mediums who can play fwd rotate here.A blind man can see we need to persevere with Cumberland but apparently a the selectors are having trouble with their glasses and are not seeing too well.

FF: Bolton - Bauer - Ryan.
To me it just makes sense. Bolton has the x factor and would likely walk into most sides as a small fwd. Bauer ffs when are we going to get serious about playing other tall forwards other than Lynch and Riewoldt. Ryan continues to give who ever the first ruckman is a chop out and gives us a good target fwd in the air.

Int:Prestia - Baker - Sonsie - Short - McIntosh

Okay first up Graham is not a fwd. Second it seems its a rush job to play him and you really have to ask why???. So he is not here.
Dion has struggled all year coming of a weeks break play him from the bench and continue to manage him. Baker well like Sonsie Short and McIntosh they offer flexability. Imo Baker has been either good or poor and he is coming off a poor one.
Sonsie well yeah he had a poor game like Baker but ffs lets back our kids in instead of blaming them for losses dumping them and not affording them the same sort of backing as we do others.
Short or McIntosh as sub both offer flexability and both have differing attributes if its to be wet id probably play McIntosh and make Short the sub.

Win or lose win well or get thrashed the above setsus up for a better culture imo.

Can't believe HRS and Juddy are in.

Give me Cumberland and Bauer instead, or Dow even.

What sort of message do you send by dropping a kid after 1 bad game?

It has got to get to a point where someone at the club says to Dimma you can’t carry on selecting blokes for brownie points they earned 5 years ago. The season is already gone, let’s develop some kids ffs
