I guess we’ll wait for vfl. Need a midfielder to fill in for hopper I guess

I don’t think either Ryan or Nank are decent enough forwards to spend anything other than a couple of mins here and there in the fwd line, which means to me that neither are suited to a 2nd ruck role.

The only way I can see nank and Ryan working as a ruck combo is if one of them spends heavy minutes on the bench or if nank rediscovers his intercept marking and can drift behind the ball (like gawn does) while Ryan takes the ruck.

As for my outs I’d drop HRS even though he got himself into some good positions to intercept some dump kicks towards the end there, I thought he was mostly anonymous and really don’t know what role he is playing. I’d also drop Kmac. Don’t know exactly how many of his kicks were direct turnovers but seemed like most of them were. Move Pickett back to the wing to replace him.

Out: HRS, Kmac, Hopper (if injured)
In: MRJ (taking picketts spot in the fwd line) + 1/2 best VFL performers

Tigers confirm Jacob Hopper has a left calf injury. Will miss Dreamtime at the G. Toby Nankervis is likely to return in round 11 v Port Adelaide but trains tomorrow. If everything went well he might be a sneaky chance for next week

I literally spoke to the club about his calf in the last 20 minutes. And spoke to the Richmond fitness boss about Nankervis this morning. So yes they will wait for scans but it’s not outrageous to suggest he will miss next week

Sonsie for Hopper, don’t rush and risk ruck rover Nank
PS: we just beat the top side , clubs don’t make unforced changes as a rule

Agree with Sonsie playing. Another option could be playing Ross as a mid and play Banks on the wing.

Pretty straightforward.  Ross plays in Hoppers spot then bring in Banks.

Don’t think anyone really put their hand up in the 2s yesterday. Might be Sonsie or Cumberland (Pickett moves to the wing, Ross into the middle) by default unless someone is ready to come back from injury.

Given picketts proven defensive game as a forward do we risk bringing in cummy who has been known to not always run two ways?
