Damien Hardwick is attempting to lure his 2017 Richmond premiership player & current Geelong assistant, Shaun Grigg, to the Gold Coast.

What a ridiculous argument we have here

I work in Africa and they were taking the pee out of me for saving Africa.......

Broad: "I take Caro's comments with a grain of salt to be honest. At Richmond, internally, we don't see it like that at all. Dimma was burnt out. He needed to get out of Melbourne and away from Richmond. Internally, the way we see it is he was amazing for us, gave us three flags and we're so grateful. But, you could see it in Dimma as he said that he couldn't look a player in the eye and give his full commitment. Change is as good as a holiday. Jack and Cotch left as well as Dimma which is sad but it wipes the slate clean so we can move forward. I'm not disappointed with Dimma leaving and Dimma's comments. I know he loves us and this footy club, but everyone needs a change at some point. People change jobs in the real world. It's all good internally."

From Barrett's 'Sliding Doors' column:

IF ...
there's anyone remaining at the Tigers who believe Dimma didn't resign purely to get the Gold Coast gig ...

THEN ...
they may have come down in the last shower. Would love to get the true thoughts of Taranto and Hopper.
