Horse would set better standards than this you’d think.

I r personally don't think Yaz knows what it takes to be honest.

Hes probably a nice guy but we need a development coach who can instil basic footy implementation. I'm not sure this guy can.

He's given us our worst ever season and you can say ok fair enough we had injuries and some aging players ok whatever.

So now he has a full preseason to bring in his best ideas and implementations to ensure development and some sort of competitiveness. A point of difference. We will be super fit! NO!

We will be aggressive in our defence? NO!

We will be highly skilled? NO!

We will be great at ball movement and transition? NO!

We will be agressive off the ball with our pressure? NO!

Is he happy with this crap? Are the players?  It's a joke really.

Personally I'm not sure what people are expecting.

He's inherited a list of veterans who are either over the hill somewhat, or average.

Pack of inbetweeners.

Lots of draftees.

This list is predictably going to be uncompetitive in 2026 also.

This old' chestnut!

We cannot expect to still be competitive for at least ONE quarter?

We are uncompetitive witches hats!

ITS UNACCEPTABLE to be this bad. We shouldn't have this attitude we will be bad for a few years.

We shouldn't be this uncompetitive ever.

.......meanwhile Geelong is also rebuilding their list and has aging stars.  :shh

Geelong is different as far as Vic clubs go. They consistently attract A-grade talent at bargain prices because of their Vic-based regional location. It's a leg up any day of the week.

And yes I agree about being competitive for longer, but largely speaking these are the whippings that I was expecting to happen in the second half of the year.

Whole team is fried, physically and mentally, and the injuries don't help too.

Caracella, ziebell, Newman are all new, caracella obvious was there for the flags but he came back this season. Only coach that’s been there for the transition from Dimma to yze is Rutten. Otherwise it’s been a complete turnover.

Maybe we need a senior coach that has higher standards for basics.

I don't think Yze demands high enough.

Standards are rock bottom and that's ok with Yze.  ;)

It seems he's allowed this mediocrity to fester and now it's blossoming into the uncompetitive bullcrap we are seeing weekly. It doesn't take long for it to manifest itself once it's allowed to become normal.

A bad last quarter or a small lapses you can take if we are seeing strong intent and a determination to win despite being deficient or young.

We aren't the youngest team in the league like Fremantle. But we act as if we are hopeless.

What is Yze trying to do out there?
Can anyone explain his gameplan?
What are the teams non negotiables?
What are we actually good at?

I'm starting to think he might be just another dud coach.

I didn't like his comment that Lalors injury flattened the coaches box.  You must be professional enough to brush off any contingency no matter what happens and you must set an example to the players.
Maybe that did happen but during the game the coaching staff must be up and ready.

Maybe a play on words, but I agree.

If he'd said they all felt compassionate and sad for him etc that's one thing, but to say they felt flat kind of indicates it impacted them too much when they need to have their eyes on the prize. Pussies.

Imagine if Dimma and the coaches said that when Flossy got knocked out in the 2020 GF
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
