Cahill fouled in the box. He's killing them  :bow. Emerton nails the penalty.

Very lucky win but I guess it's a good sign when you play absolute crap but still can pinch the points. One foot in the World Cup door  :thumbsup.

The all A-league Socceroos drew 0-0 with Indonesia in Jakarta in their first 2011 Asian Cup qualifier.

0-0 at half-time.

If the Aussies can walk away with at least a draw it'll be a good result.

Japan  0 - 0 Australia   .........   CUB's appreciation of soccer has just grown  ;D

A forgettable game from the Aussies perspective (just one shot on goal) but we defended well and got at least the result we were after. With home games to come against weak countries we've already beaten it's looking good for the Socceroos.

Go Aussies! Win tonight and they can basically book their tickets to the World Cup.

Aussies win 2-0  :woohoo

If Bahrain and Qatar draw later tonight then we are off to the World Cup without needing to play another game. Either way we are basically there. Aussies only need one more point from their last 3 games to qualify for sure. 9 points clear and +9 goal difference on 3rd spot.
