Changes for next week against the Saints?
« on: August 04, 2023, 10:42:36 PM »
Obviously Cotch, Dusty and Grimes will be available.

Hopper to miss under the concussion protocol.

Rioli went off with an ankle but came back on and played out the game.

Yeah lets just keep dropping Cumberland after one game and wonder why he's not tearing it up. Obviously the ten goal loss was down to his inclusion. Then we can wait until after the next VFL bye to bring him back after not bringing him straight in after kicking a bag the week before that despite having no forwards. Hopefully the fourth time will be a charm.  :shh.

I would not drop any player after a week but feel like Cumberland is increasingly given Dan Connor vibes every week.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

It’s ok to defend a player you like but if you can’t, from a football sense identity why most don’t rate him, well that’s on you. Look, he would be a superstar in the local comp where it’s all about him. In the big league it’s about the team.

So do we have proof that Cumberland is  like Dan O’Connor, any examples of his bad behaviour  would be great.
I’m not sure which small forward who can kick goals we would replace him with, this bloke just looks confused now and doesn’t know what role  he is meant to playing and is making stupid mistakes.
Am I right that He has only played about 10 AFL games ?

Now let's do all the plodders you constantly talk up....how about we start with the two who got less possessions combined than Cumberland did...or were they just "playing their role"? :shh :shh

INS: Martin, Cotchin, Miller, Grimes (if fit) (Mansell stays)

OUTS: Soldo, Rioli (inj), Hopper, Cumberland, Pickett

We can scratch Miller due to concussion
