Must acknowledge the huge performance by the boys. To run out the game with nothing left in the tank was impressive. We played a great style tonight and if not for those multiple injuries, we win the game.

The umps had the script. Injuries or not they were making sure we lost

Bluddy spirited effort. Lots of positives but, gee, our fumbling and missed basics told in the end. We will get better. Lynch was super rusty, Dusty will be better.

Miller in for Young, Balta is just going to have to go back for Gibcus, can't see too many alternatives really.

Sound like a broken record, but fing umps.

80m penalty, Kamdyn arm chopped, even the Balta in the back, he didn't actually fall onto him...

Just on that, why don’t they pay the first free dropping the ball. The secondary action is momentum granted it was in the back. Pay the first in my book.

Was a great effort. Let’s just get some more kids into the team. We aren’t good enough to win most games this year so let’s atleast lose whilst getting some experience. Dow was poor again

What the stuff was he doing in the team off the back of a 4 week injury anyway. He ain’t that good.

Forget the result, at this stage it's not really relevant. Sure a win would have been great but very proud of the boys tonight, everything that could have gone against them did . The fight was there, that's all that matters. Will take a few weeks for Yze to get the balance right . It will come

Thought nank was solid tonight - not easy missing games and then fronting up as the #1 ruckman. Kept going with everyone going down around him. Wouldn't have been easy to keep the spirits up after halftime. One of the reasons we were still in it.

Thought so too although admittedly my bar for him is quite low

Better than solid, leading clearance player on the ground, equal leading tackles, 19 possessions. Very good for first game in. If he'd nailed his set shot...

Can see potential, great vision and hands. Just needs to get it more often.

Pickett was the biggest liability tonight...both our wingers are useless.... people bagging MRJ need get a stuffing clue - his pressure kept us in it at the end....not his fault his idiot team mates couldn't capitalise..... :shh
