Looking at Play HQ, can't really see how he's going.  Checked a few games, not named in the best players.  Anyone know how he's going?

Forgive me being so naive, but why wouldn't he be playing VFL level?

Nearly all cat b rookies start playing lower League's

In Oliver's case he hasn't played AFL at any level since he was kid; like under 13s

So he needs time to develop, VFL isn't the place at this time

Your point being. Is Ivan actually a good player?  ::)

Maybe i have to admit on this one im wrong, OHB  has done as Much as Samson in one Vfl AS as Ryan has done in his time with us. Fmd 13 disposals when was the last time Samson had that many lol. Did he take a contested mark sheesh maybe Samson needs to take some pointers.

There are so many basketball players in the afl. Not all are rucks. Please, do some actual research.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Richmond Category B rookie pick-up Oliver Hayes-Brown produced another impressive performance in just his fourth game at VFL level against Northern Bullants last Sunday.

The 208cm former basketballer was a strong contributor in the VFL Tigers’ massive 95-point win with 13 disposals, three marks, six clearances and 38 hit-outs.

In his four games of VFL football, he is averaging 13.0 disposals, 5.5 clearances and 29.7 hit-outs.

Richmond VFL coach Steve Morris paid tribute to Hayes-Brown following last Sunday’s clash with the Northern Bullants.

“It was nice for him not to have to come up against a 210cm ruckman like he did last week (Carlton’s Alex Mirkov). He’s played against some pretty experienced ruckmen in his short career, and he had a bit more size on his side than his opposition today.” Morris told Richmond Media.

“His understanding and his reading of the game seems to be getting better and better each week.

“Really proud of the work he’s putting in. And he should be proud of himself because he’s turned into a really vital part of our team really quickly for us.

“It’s exciting.”
