"The intent and the way we played was so good, we just didn't quite get over the line."

🎙️ Hear from Ryan Ferguson after today's one-point loss to the Suns.

They have to get harder at the ball and in marking contests. The intent was generally good just need to lift further at the main contests

I have to question their intent. Some players offer no 2nd efforts, refuse to chase. We actually sat there and questioned our fitness, we just look slow.

And if you were at the ground yesterday like i was and watched the warm up,  you would have known we were in for an average day. Missing targets, dropping marks...

Slow and lacking in skill. Looked 2nd rate.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

And we lose another player with Beth Lynch suspended for a week for kneeing.

Poppy Kelly was fined $400 for rough conduct.
