He played about 3 games in the AFL, didn't really get a good shake. Will be 31 next year so yeah he won't get an opportunity but you can't say AFL was beyond him on the back of a few games. Guy is clearly a very good footballer in the best state league in the country

Given what Jack said about the appalling way he was treated by some at the club -especially during the "leading teams" debacle -  then it's no surprise we didn't get the best out of him.... :shh

...as old mate tigs2010 (6th member of the fab 5 if he posted here and wasn't such a groupie groupie  :shh)said on big footy - more of a leave home factor than a go home factor it seems...... :shh

They hung him out to dry for some comments he made before the showdown and then proceeded to drop him for the following game.

I like Draper. Has been off the board since everyone thought he wanted the crows

Leading team led to us trading Lids so wasn’t all negative…
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Yep hes firming as my #1.

Wins a lot of his own ball wins clearances is a burst player or quick of the mark but can maintain that pace over the ground.
A very good inside out player.

I reckon he and Lalor stand out when it comes to that burst thru or away from a stoppage.

Would be great if we can get our hands on both.

If we can. Get 1, 3 and 6.

Id love any combo of Draper, Smith and Lalor.

Gut feel the club will explore Smith and FOS combo.

Also I've been a Smillie fan since day 1, so a shame to see him not explode. Also keen on Armstrong or Shanahan so need to ensure we don't miss on either one of the big boys.
Go Tigers!

Draper disposal holds him back for me it aren't great..

A few people have compared FOS to Heeney.....if that's case then pass....prefer blokes who don't shyte themselves in grannies... :shh

Carried a stress fracture through the entire final series he says now...is that like the Handbaggers & their covid that was only revealed after the fact?  Either way...didn't stop Neale from nearly winning the Norm.......though maybe if Horse picked fit players for grannies for a change he might actually win a another flag one day..or at least not get flogged... :shh

Bid on Ashcroft.

The genes are strong and with the cup their draft hand is already as weak as possible.
