He played about 3 games in the AFL, didn't really get a good shake. Will be 31 next year so yeah he won't get an opportunity but you can't say AFL was beyond him on the back of a few games. Guy is clearly a very good footballer in the best state league in the country

Given what Jack said about the appalling way he was treated by some at the club -especially during the "leading teams" debacle -  then it's no surprise we didn't get the best out of him.... :shh

Yep hes firming as my #1.

Wins a lot of his own ball wins clearances is a burst player or quick of the mark but can maintain that pace over the ground.
A very good inside out player.

I reckon he and Lalor stand out when it comes to that burst thru or away from a stoppage.

Would be great if we can get our hands on both.

If we can. Get 1, 3 and 6.

Id love any combo of Draper, Smith and Lalor.

Gut feel the club will explore Smith and FOS combo.

Also I've been a Smillie fan since day 1, so a shame to see him not explode. Also keen on Armstrong or Shanahan so need to ensure we don't miss on either one of the big boys.

Carried a stress fracture through the entire final series he says now...is that like the Handbaggers & their covid that was only revealed after the fact?  Either way...didn't stop Neale from nearly winning the Norm.......though maybe if Horse picked fit players for grannies for a change he might actually win a another flag one day..or at least not get flogged... :shh
