seems to me there are a lot of shorter mids touted early first rounders than those over 6ft.

Is that right?

Smilie 194, Lalor 187, Langford 190, Hynes 190 all in the mix....apparently Toce likes Langford - dunno if that means we'll take him a #1 or not because we also like Smith and now O'Sullivan -who's my pick along with Lalor- will be playing for our VFL side as well this week..........club also rates Lalor very highly or at least did a month or so ago..... Hynes tipped to go in 20's....  :shh

We should just draft them all, along with that tall forward you mentioned

Not been here for a week or so. Do we have picks  1,3,5,7, 9, 11 and 17  yet.
Surely that is doable hurry up and get it done.

Exactly, great odds, no chance of an even pick there??

If Freo wants both Baker + Bolton it will take all 3 of their 1st round picks at least. They might slide down the ladder/up the draft from here, but currently they are 8, 13, 17.

Only whisper about Graham is some interested from WA and despite the rumours of him netting us 2nd round compo I'd be surprised if it's any better than end-2nd.

I'm be looking to move Short on with him also. I wonder if WCE would give up P23 for Short and if Graham could be a steak knife?

I'd be keeping the Riolis myself. Dan to captain 2025+.

Package up 33, 39, 41, 51, 57, 59, 64 (2121 points) to Carlton for P10 (1395 points) because they will need them for the Camporeale brothers, or some derivative of this.

See if we can wrangle P7 from Suns for their Academy, in exchange for 17 + 21.

Go draft with 1, 7, 8, 10, 13, 23. Take a punt on a late key forward with P73.

Just spitballing.

A few have said that Finn looked dynamic in his VFL debut. From what I can gather, the view seems to be that his ceiling is higher than Jagga’s, but he doesn’t rack up stats like Jagga does and has been less consistent (injuries have played a role in this). Will be interesting to see what we do with pick 1.

TIGERS' NO.1 AUDITIONS CONTINUE

RICHMOND has looked at auditioning more potential No.1 draft picks through its VFL program as the Tigers look set for a bumper draft crop, with the club attempting to get classy midfielder Murphy Reid into the team as well.

The Tigers will have top pick contender Harvey Langford play for their VFL side this weekend, following midfield pair Finn O'Sullivan and Jagga Smith in recent weeks.

If Ashcroft is the best available talent then I hope we select him with pick 1. Sick of clubs not picking F/S players at their true position just because they know they won’t actually play for them. Make the clubs getting the players as accountable as possible and give up the maximum amount of points.

10000%

It's a competition ffs and we have no academy or FS options for them to pay us the same respect.

Thomas Sims:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvAcuRvT3PM

Quote
Big bags of goals are a little more rare in this competition in recent years, but Sims showed just how dangerous he can be posting the largest single game tally of the season so far with seven.  He started slowly, barely sighted through three and a half quarters before suddenly bursting into life, slotting goals and find space everywhere in the forward line, piling on four goals in a 10 minute burst to close the third term.  He kept up that form through the fourth quarter, adding three more and honestly could have had 10 or more with a number of other gettable chances going astray.
