So with delisting and players leaving, how many spots do we have on our list?
Pickett retired
Grimes retired
Dusty retired
Colina please delist
Rioli, Baker, Bolton, Graham

So that is 8 plus, any more??

Should leave 1 empty for MSD too since we'll probably be 18th

PSD & SSP mainly....with the MSD , you're usually anticipating an LTI.... :shh

LTI = Long Term Injury List

Colina is a category B rookie so sits outside our primary list and isn't eligible for seniors unless we have players in the LTI, as he needs to be promoted.

Cat A rookies like say Campbell and Blight are eligible for selection at anytime

Also, remember two spots from any delistings are automatically taken up by Blight and Grey. As those currently on LTI will be coming off it for the start of 2025

So unbiased opinion has

Rioli Pick 6, 20
Bolton for Pick 9,17
Baker Pick 10 or 12

I give a tick for Rioli and Baker trades. Bolton for 9 and 17 is a loss personally. The fact he is contracted should find us with better compo. At absolute worst it should be pick 9 and future first. In that  Pick 9 becomes pick 10, and pick 17 this year will end up being the 20th best kid with Lions taking Ashcroft F/S, Lombard academy pick and Battle compo.

No way we accept pick 10 and 20 for Bolton who is contracted.
Go Tigers!

Yeah I’m saying no to pick 9 & 17 for Bolton. They have 9 and 10 so those should be the 2 picks we are getting. Everything else is fine although would hope the 2nd pick for Rioli can be one of their late first rounders if we are paying part of his salary.

A tough final game of the season for Smillie who found plenty of footy but struggled with his disposal on a super windy Ballarat day.  He still managed some highlight moments including one incredible goal from an impossible angle.

I'm sure you'd know better than me!

I'm actually excited about the draft for a change, after years of crappy picks bar Gibcus.

Jagar smith in the sam walsh mode? He seems to get a lot of the pill as does Walsh.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.
