The league has warned clubs against side deals that would see them declining to bid on father-son and academy players as AFL House steps up its determination to see clubs paying a fair price for elite young talent.

In discussion to the Pick 2 trade up saga, it’s gone quite cold, unless Richmond see themselves highly benefiting from the deal, they won’t pull the plug.

they aren’t desperate for the deal, North are and they continue to insist, Richmond don’t see a massive gap from pick 2 to 6, hence why they aren’t in a rush to complete a deal or begin discussing the deal.

He also doesn’t seem to understand how to use the phrase ‘pull the plug’.

Hey If lists have a max of 44 then how did we end up with 46 players this year? Because we have cut 10 and can only take 8. What gives anyone?

We had 2 on the LTI

Gibcus and Clarke (pretty sure it was Clarke)

He mentioned on Jun 27th Richmond ranked Lalor very highly on their board. This is months before anyone else. He clearly has some inside info. Suggest don’t poo on him. He should be encouraged

DRAFT PROFILE | Pick one contender Finn O’Sullivan is the most well-rounded prospect available, offering abundant talent despite an injury interrupted year.

Classy midfielder with elite clearance skills, game awareness, and decision-making, is Murphy Reid. He’s fearless, willing to take the game on and consistently looking for smart entries into the forward 50. With a bit of luck he’ll be around that pick 10/11

Yes I posted the tweet here on the 28th - he also mentioned Faull in the tweet...but this was also after Lalor started coming into pick one calculations in general so it was hardly a scoop  and since then he's also said we want to pair up FOS & Smith.... :shh

No one had Lalor at no.1 when he posted that tweet. Absolutely no one.
