Ross 10 touches in a half.

Dow 6 touches in a whole game.

And? our senior mids were deplorable and lacked intent and the ability to hit a target. The midfield is our major issue and i am talking about the senior group here. Shocking!

yet, arent you the bloke who wants to bring jack graham into the team asap when fit. :lol :lol

the problem is we are slow as stuff.

wake up

Jack can at least hit bloody targets!  :whistle

yeah for the 3 times he touches the ball. He would work well with Dow, another favourite.

Been banging on about the tackling for 4 stuffing years and nothing appears to have changed... .....a simple solution that will go along way to fixing everything else.... :banghead

We looked so top heavy. I don’t think it would be as bad as today because I don’t think Ryan offers enough, but I wouldn’t be playing both nank and Naismith. Given they made nank captain they’ve booked themselves into a corner.

Ryan can be forgotten about, he just does not have what it takes. Unfortunately we’re in a position where we probably have to play him due to a lack of depth

We are missing a few but not enough to suggest it will make a big enough difference.

Im peeed and dont give a poo.
We can argue the fine print as much as people like but the premise still stands true. we are in for a lot of pain over the next 5 seasons and beyond.

Best 22 addressing now and MOST IMPORTANTLY THE FUTURE. We are not winning a flag this year what does it take for people to admit this.

The age demographic of the better players still says we are not going to improve but go into further decline. so this and we are not winning a flag tells us exactly what the path is thet we need to tread. Trouble is we all still think we are a good side.

IT's bordering on utter stupidity to keep playing older blokes over trying to find some decent players from what youth we have.

The simple truth is the second tier is not capable of taking over from the legends and will not take us up.

To me this or something similar should be a non negotiable ive been saying it for ages.
Play what promising kids we have with the better seniors we have. Get rid of the role players and horribly deficient premiership players we still have. We all know who they are.
We need to find the right balance of good seniors leading the most promising of our youth. We have to play players in their natural roles and FREAKIN STOP PLAYING ORDINARY BLOKES IN THOSE ROLES. To The detriment  of  NATURAL FWDS MIDS OR DEFENDERS.

The sooner we get to something like this the better.

Vlastuin - Young - Gibcus
Tresize  - Balta - Brown

Banks - Martin - D Rioli. I reckon teams have worked Daniel out at h/b.
Naismith - Taranto - Bolton

Campbell - Koschitzke - Sonsie
Cumberland - Lynch - Bauer.

McAuliffe - Broad - Baker -

This is just a starting point it may take 5 or 7 years to firstly find the quality and then get enough games into them. to even start thinking about flags again.

The longer we deny where we at the longer it will take for success to happen again.

First off we good to many duds that can't hit a target or poor skills and we're talking senior blokes that's not negotiable just like tackling and pressure. Get the kids in. Yze can't fall for the same mistake playing senior blokes not up to it expecting miracles.

Naismith out? Wasn't that bloody bad

Agree he wasn't, he at least had a dip

But Nank will come straight back in. We were too top heavy today and it was contributed to the disaster that was the 1st half

We can't afford to play 2 ruckman

Wow - what an embarrassment! :-[  Third quarter was good to watch though.  Bombing it to Balta didn't work.  Kosi did nothing.  Bolton could have done more.  MJ good and new boy great.  Some players I didn't even realise were on the field they were so quiet.
