Tim Taranto, Dustin Martin and Liam Baker all look set for minutes against Collingwood in the inaugural pre-season Charity Shield game next Tuesday.

Tigers captain Toby Nankervis is also expected to join the trio after he was managed against the Demons, but Dion Prestia is set to take longer to be ready to play as he battles a hamstring injury.

“I think most of those boys that didn’t play on the weekend will be gearing up to have a run around, just got to tick their final boxes I suppose,” Hopper said.

According to 7news:

* Dusty, Taranto and Grimesy will play against the Pies.

* No sign of Nank at training. Still battling with a persistent foot issue (Ch 9 though said he is "expected" to play vs Pies).

Tiger team named for Charity Shield practice match
Five Richmond stars have been included in the team to face Collingwood at Ikon Park on Tuesday evening.

Richmond has named its 26-man team for Tuesday night's Charity Shield practice match against Collingwood at Ikon Park.

The Tigers will be strengthened by the inclusions of several stars, with midfielder Dion Prestia overcoming a minor hamstring injury suffered in an internal match simulation at Punt Road on January 31.

Dylan Grimes, Dustin Martin, Liam Baker and Tim Taranto will also take the field after not featuring in last Sunday's match simulation against Melbourne at Casey Fields.

Rhyan Mansell (syndesmosis), Nick Vlastuin (managed) and Sam Banks (calf tightness) will miss tomorrow's match at Ikon Park, as will captain Toby Nankervis with foot soreness.

Richmond's four emergencies for the pre-season match are James Trezise, Maurice Rioli, Kane McAuliffe and Hugo Ralphsmith.

The game, from 6.40pm AEDT, will be the Tigers' final pre-season hit-out ahead of Opening Round against Gold Coast on Saturday, March 9.

Fundraising efforts surrounding tomorrow's Charity Shield match will go towards Foodbank.

To support the fundraising efforts, both clubs sought permission from the AFL to fully-ticket the match and requested an adjusted entry price for members.

Club members and the general public will need to purchase a ticket to enter the match. Members must upgrade to a paid ticket, and there will be no walk-up scans for this game.

Tuesday's match against the Magpies will be broadcast live on Fox Footy, available on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.

Prior to the senior match, a VFL practice match between the two clubs will take place at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval from 3pm.

Entry to Punt Road Oval will be free, with the game to be live streamed on richmondfc.com.au and the Official Richmond Club App.

Where's Sonsie?

Suspended for the first two rounds so I'd say they just want to look at the blokes that will actually be available for those games. :shh

No surprise really with Cumberland, limited pre-season, played VFL last week... was never an option for this game

This game is for those most like in round 1

HTF does Ross, Graham and Ryan get a game in front of Trezise. All 3 are proven hacks. Trezise has some talent.
