Feel like we’d be right up there for goals to lose after the siren too.

Feel like we’d be right up there for goals to lose after the siren too.

4 times and 3 were under Hardwick (K.Hunt, Mundy, Anderson) only one before that was 1946 (Bill Wood Footscray) all were goals

Scum have lost 8 (7 goals & 1 behind) , Filth have lost 6 (5 & 1 ), Bumblers 5 (4 & 1) & Norf 5 (All goals)

Aints, Toffs & Handbaggers are all equal with us on 4 losses

Also only one of two sides to win a non-premiership match after siren - Jack v Hawthorn in the pre season 2013 (the other was Kerry Good for Norf v Filth in the 1980 Escort Cup GF)

On the other side of the coin we've only had 2 misses to win after the siren - Jack v Aints in 2008 & Prestia's "non 50" shot v Sydney last year. (Norf the most with 4)

Reckon if you included  in "scores conceded in time-on in the last quarter to lose" we'd be right up there though....  :shh

Yep, Dio.

We've also in the past decade or so had quite a few last minute winning goals against us thanks to costly brainfades which makes us supporters think they've been a lot more of them. Mundy kicked another winner against us in the last 40 secs in 2015. Jeremy Cameron when he was at GWS in 2017 from a coast to coast play. Joe Daniher of course in the 2022 EF after the ARC controversy & us not being able to rush a simple behind from a high ball. Fun times - NOT!  :help

Those 2 close losses you mention in 2017 against freo, gws and the third in a row being against the bulldogs were the making of us. Felt like we didn’t lose another close game until 2021. Teams might have stuck close with us through 3 qtrs and then we’d just power past them in the 4th. A far cry to what we became in 2021-2023, but it was magnificent to watch while it lasted.

Didn’t we lose our fitness coach at some point back then?

"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
