Ross now 8 weeks into his 6-8 week injury.

Think we deserve better than the pitiful information we are getting as paid members.

It was originally a 10-12 week injury but get your point

Clearly and I don't know why they don't just say it but it's not healing they way they hoped.

The other week in the Club XIII room at half-time (think it was Dreamtime) he was still in a moon boot. They did ask him but sadly couldn't hear his answer because as usual too many of my fellow members were talking over him  :banghead

Not hard to give a proper update

P6 it said 8 weeks on 16/4.

It's been 8 and he's still yonks away.

Some clarity directly from the club would be the expectation.

Lunch out with a hamstring.  :shh

Laughable how Yze or Benny havent called out this imposter Meehan yet for a review.

Talk about standards slipping.

They must be undertaking a full review behind the closed doors. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Meehan resigns not long after the last game. He would understand this is not a tenable situation.

Agree

I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't something going inside the 4 walls. Heaven forbid they keep it in house and not give a running commentary via the media and socials

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

The latest injury update from Physical Performance Manager Luke Meehan ahead of Sunday's Round 16 clash with Carlton at the MCG.

Tom Lynch, hamstring

"Unfortunately, Tom had a minor hamstring injury right at the end of the game last week. It's not the same side (as his previous hamstring injury), it's a different side and it's a different site. It's pretty minor, he's already up and running pretty quickly. We're hoping to see him available in the next couple of weeks."

Jacob Hopper, hamstring

"'Hops' has put in a huge eight weeks. Especially the last month, he has been working really, really hard. He'll get through training on Thursday and be available this Sunday."

Dion Prestia, calf

"He's going really well. He's putting in some big running sessions at the moment. We're hoping next week, if not the week after, he'll be available."

Marlion Pickett, calf

"Marlion's injury has been a little bit stubborn to get going. At the moment, he's just started running. There's no further update at the moment, but we're hoping to have one in the next week or two on where he's at."

Maurice Rioli, ankle

"Maurice is going really well, he's turned the corner. He was in every day over the bye working really hard. He's really determined to get back and perform this year. We're hoping he'll be in training in the next week or so, and then a couple of weeks later he'll be available for selection."

Jack Ross, foot

"(Jack's) injury can be really difficult to get going, he's sort of had nine weeks off now since he hurt himself. He's just started running outside at the moment. We're looking at probably a four-to-six-week period of building him back into skills, and then we're looking at some game time. So, we're hoping by the end of the year he'll be playing a couple of games."

Samson Ryan, ankle

"Samson (sustained) a minor syndesmosis at the end of the Adelaide game (Round 13). He played out the game, so we were hoping he would be available the next week. It didn't quite turn out that way and it's probably a little bit worse than we first thought... We think maybe a week or two."

Liam Fawcett, back

"Liam's working hard outside. He's got an appointment with a specialist in the next week. We'll have more information then, but we're really hoping we'll see Liam play some game time by the end of the year."

Reckon there’s only 6 regular in our 22 unavailable this week.
Of those, Lynch and Gibcus would be considered top 10 in our team with Pickett, MRJ and Meatie starting 18 at best.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
