Players must now do 20 min media interviews post-game (9news)

Clubs have been told every non-injured player must be available to be interviewed for 20 minutes after every game, + there will be more access to senior coaches than ever before in 2024.

The AFL is pushing this strongly.

Players agreed to this when they signed up for the new CBA, so they can't exactly sook now.

I read it as the players have to be available for 20minutes after a game, for an interview. Whether they get interviewed or not, just have to remain available for that period

When approached for a comment Richmond coach Adem Yze said, "Sorry fella's but I've got a bit of a headache & need to do a concussion test ... it is a physical game you know .. bye ... "
Richmond CEO Brendon Gale waved the media away motioning towards an ice pack he had just removed from Football Manager Neil Balme's head. 
Eventually the Richmond Boot Studder offered up a comment when he mumbled, "****ed if I know?" ...
