I haven't got around to changing it yet in the profiles but Bowden apparently re-signed last year for 2 years so he's contracted to the end of 2005.

That leaves 15 of our guys out of contract at year's end which is what Miller or Hutchy mentioned was the case a month or two ago.

Maybe we should run a competition - pick the players that'll be re-signed and for how long.

There's probably only three to four 2004s you'd want to keep - and none would be untradeable.
Should make the trading period easy for Richmond - just delist those you can and go to the draft. What to do with Gaspar is the only issue.

What to do with Gaspar ? B*tch slap his ass into the two's untill he finds his heart.

Given we can only toss out so many I wouldn't be surprised WP if Fleming is still with us next year. He more often than not gives his all unlike some of his teammates on the "going, going, gone" list.  I put him in the going list as his skills are not up to AFL standard and so he won't take us to or be part of our next premiership team which is what we should now be focussing on building over the next 4-5 years.

It's good to see our out and out duds are out of contract at the end of the year.

So I'd agree with MT and say goodbye to - Blumfield,Fleming, Fletcher, Hilton, Houlihan, Nicholls (delist), and Kellaway, Rogers, and Campbell (retire)

That's 9 gone.

Need to Trade 3-4.  Chaffey, Kellaway, Gaspar, Fiora, Rodan, Zantuck are the prime candidates.

That's 12-13 gone.  Good turnover.

Promote Foley to senior list.

Need another 11-12.

Hopefully have picks 2,4,20,36,52,68,84.  That's 7 picks.

Gain 4 picks/players for the players we traded.

Therefore need another 3.

2 uncontracted players in the PSD and can sneak a kid late in the national draft when other clubs pass.

Therefore 11-12 new players
- 3-5 experiences players (2 from PSD, and 1-3 via trades)
- 7-9 young kids.  (1 Ruck, 2-3 KPP, 4-5 on-ballers)

Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

I personally hope your right MT - luv Timmy and his attitude - just wish it was infectious and the rest of the team played like him.
