Not so sure, play Kosi down back for the rest of the year. This is his only position i reckon.

Get the biggest, strongest key forward in form.

Don't give a stuff how fit they are or learning the game plan.

Just play them and let them do their thing.

Yze said post-match, that despite having 3-4 list spots open, we'll only be using 1-2 picks in the Midseason Draft.

That's a good idea.

Don't wanna take draft spots etc.

Understandable.
Take either of Scaife (197 Forward) or Blight (196 defender) depending on who North take.
Probably our pick 17 not worth anything since we need a key forward.
Toby Murray (200 ruck/forward), Patrick Voss (199 defender), Brynn Teakle (203 ruck) or Joe Pike (203 ruck) may be there and worth a chance.
However if not we should take El Noor from our VFL. He currently has a shoulder injury and thus won't be taken but we can save him from next years draft.

Just pick blokes who only want 6 month contracts for the last 2-3 spots.... :shh

4 x 6 month contracts to players who are desperate to be on our list.

Why wouldn’t you take 4 players on Wednesday? Chances are 1 will be decent enough to be on the list come end of the year?

Only taking 1-2, odds aren’t in favour.

If they are from our VFL program, i begin to question where is our money going into? There are plenty of talented midfielders and tall forwards that missed their chances for some reason.

Give the desperate ones that chance!

Look at Lefau! Give this kid a chance and it looks like we have a good C-Grade 3rd Tall. Surround him with some tall forwards and our forward line becomes dangerous.

Recruit 4 Richmond! 2 tall forwards, 2 midfielders!

Agree 100% taking only 1 pick I'm this draft.
All your doing is strengthening the vfl team.
Finish low, get some national draft picks, reset

Tigers to take three selections to Mid-Season Rookie Draft

Richmond has placed Josh Gibcus, Judson Clarke and Sam Naismith on the long-term injury list following their respective knee injuries.

The list movement creates three selections for the Club ahead of Wednesday night’s AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft.

Richmond National Recruiting Manager, Chris Toce said that the Club would consider a range of options in the pool.

"It's really disappointing to lose those guys for the rest of the season and we are really grateful for them for understanding and letting us put them on the inactive list to enable us to make some selections," Toce said.

"(The mid-season draft) gives you the possibility to potentially fill some gaps.

"We've got a lens to the future... our intention is to pick players that are going to be able to help us over the over the longer-term rather than just picking for the quick fix."

Richmond has had success at the mid-season draft in the past with Marlion Pickett going on to play in a premiership in 2019.

Matthew Parker featured at senior level after joining the Club mid-year in 2021, and Jacob Bauer (2022), Matt Coulthard and James Trezise (2023) have also shown encouraging signs at AFL level.

Some talk that we're looking at Will Patton.... :shh

Don't rate him as highly as others -strikes me as just another GPS champion- but apparently clubs are starting to notice Sam Davidson from our VFL side...so expect to see him at Essendon.... :shh

For me it's out of McLaughlin, Hutchison if we want talent/potential or Howe/Scaife/Blight if we're looking at needs... :shh

Even though he's currently  injured reckon we'd should use our third to secure El Nour....(no doubt WP is with me on that one) :shh

Was unlucky seeing el Nour go down. He appeared to be tracking well in the VFL.
Surely we will be looking at needs rather than potential to cover the rest of this year. Potential will come with round one pick this year.  :rollin

Seem to be having a bob each way with these two statements:
