This is the stuff that annoys me more than anything. The wheels fall off and the discipline goes out the window. Stupid stupid free kicks.

Im calling atleast 8 years until we could compete for a flag again and I couldn’t say for certain that any player on this list will still be here

Our goalkicking was woeful tonight. I can handle losing because we are outclassed, but we should at least should do the basics like take most of our set shots which are under no physical pressure. Our ressies kicked 15.5 today yet the seniors kick 5.12.

Haha well I consider myself a realist. I was always optimistic from 2014-2021. The writing is just on the wall here as clear as day

Our score resembles the free kick count

Final score

Richmond     1.3    3.6     4.8    5.12-42
Melbourne    2.3    3.5     8.7    13.7-85

Goals: M.Rioli 2, Lefau, Martin, Bolton.

8.2 to 2.6 after half-time and 5.0 to 1.4 in the last qtr which blew out the score. The bad kicking is bad footy cliche on show.

Expect Yze to point to the 15 minute lapse after half-time which gave the Dees a 4 goal lead. The rest of the game we tried but we lacked polish and lacked talls up forward. it was 50 inside 50s each but you can't win games kicking just 1 goal for every 10 F50 entries  :P.

As much as Nank had a stinker, Naismith gives us a fat 0. The non-selection of Ryan as a key forward was a glaring error, especially against this mob.

Beaten by a side we should have been beaten by.
Nothing surprising other than how close it was in until the 3rd.
Gotta say I'm starting to like Lefau more and more each week. Has been standing some pretty decent Backmen and has done very well considering he's played single.digit games. We are getting reamed with injuries but it's opening up some Gametime for guys who need it, and we should not be playing guys who will not be part of the next competitive generation. It's past the time to think of the now and look to the future.
