Their foot skills are tearing us to pieces. It’s just all too easy and predictable, we’re cooked.

Why is it so hard to get the ball into our forward 50 but so easy for the opposition to do so :banghead

Gees, they are a bunch of duckers these Hawks!  Every tackle gets shrugged up & they just expect a free for it ...

Half-time

Richmond   2.3    4.5-29
Hawthorn   4.3    7.6-48

Goals: Martin, Taranto, Koschitzke, Bolton

Lucky to be 'only' 3 goals down. Playing like the VFL team earlier today. So many passengers ballwatching it's not funny.

You're not going to win games getting smashed 3-9 in centre clearances and mostly having to start attacks from D50 with no structure or connection in the forward half.

Bunch of fake tough guys in that hawks forward line. Wanna get in players faces then duck and stage for free kicks at every opportunity.

They'll keep doing it as long as the blue muppet umpiring in their forward line keeps falling for it and paying them frees right in front of the sticks >:(.

Hawthorn playing like a team that has won 5 of their past 6 ( and should have been 6) .

We are trying hard but their rebuild is well advanced of where we’re at.

At the ground and their speed is extremely noticeable in contrast to how slow we look especially when the ball is in a congested situation they seem to get it out of clearance at breakneck speed compared to us.

Also they are killing us in the air but that's because our forward entries are ridiculously poor.

The hawks defenders have taken about 20 marks between them with scrimshaw absolutely killing it every single time and Cumberland can't seem to get a hand on it.

The hawks ball movement looks pretty good and they seem to have good skills by foot by that's also due to our lack of effort to pressure the ball carrier probably because we can't even catch them out of the stoppage and our tackle technique is atrocious.

Taranto is dominating possession but except for that goal he isn't really damaging the hawks with his possessions.

I don't think we are really working hard enough at the minute the players not working off the ball to pressure them as we would like to see.

We are still in it but we have a lot of work to do

Thanks Dusty.  :gotigers

Put Mcauliffe on. Everyone playing midfield not named Taranto is getting well beaten.
