They say it is sonsies  supposed best position, McCauliffe is the obvious choice but why not give Sonsie his shot??

Agree Sonsie needs to play in the guts to see what he can bring to the table.

Short could also run through there, better than down back at the moment.

Id like to see them play Tresize down back for a few weeks, even try Tom Brown up forward for a bit to see how he goes (might give us another marking target)

Sonsie deserves the shot. I fear if he can’t play midfield
He won’t make it and he hasn’t even proven he can play midfield

Pretty sure brown was being played forward in the last quarter against the giants.

He certainly did

Needed to try something and he had been poor down back

Wouldn't be surprised if he's managed this week, his form has really dropped off the last few weeks

See Smiffy was in the bests again what the hell does he need to do to get a game and not a token 5 minute run either.

For now outs could easily find a few more they deserve to be dropped.

Taranto concussion.
Short horrible insipid diabolical soft efforts again. The stat padding continues and people keep buying it.
Sonsie cannot be picked after that insipid effort. Lazy lacking speed, Tank endevour Agility and desire.
Ryan he just aint up to it atm. Can't play him and Nankervis. Back to the original plan Balta and Bauer fwd with Kossie. Blight kpd.
McIntosh just how many games like that one does he get to play before someone does something.

This is great crawski
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Given the remarks about Smith by Morris namely “The work that Kaleb is putting in at the footy club each and every morning is certainly paying off. He looked like he was in a class above on the weekend. His cleanliness with his hands really stood out and he had a huge nine tackles as a defender. He's in great form.” Smith should be brought into the side.

Team Tips:
Important mid Tim Taranto will miss the clash against Port Adelaide after suffering a concussion against the Giants, rotten luck for a player who was starting to build some continuity after missing the middle part of the year through injury. Channel 9’s Tom Morris reported on Tuesday afternoon that Dustin Martin will need to pass a fitness test on Thursday before being cleared to play Port.
