Did Campbell play last week? Look at what happened when we played Ryan!!!! are these guys that good that we can just rush em straight back in.
Im a Campbell fan but he had clearly ran out of steam and form yet he doesnt have to find some confidence and touch in the two's
Just no logic.

How does Tyler Sonsie keep his spot after a 3 disposal game. This kid shows a distinct lack of like for contact.
How did Shortsteps  escape again after so many soft as butter non efforts.

Samson Ryan after a typical horrible one handed 6 disposal game where we might as well play with a cardboard cut out.

Skinny no inside game Dow instead of the bigger bodied McAuliffe who would have at least been a like for like replacement for Taranto.
Or why not both its not as if we are brimming over with mids.

No Blight you have to scratch your head and wonder what the hell are they thinking. No Bauer either

Really am starting to question if Yze knows what he is doing.

I have wanted Smith in the team for months but i think it would be best if he didn't play this week. You just know it will the likes of him who cop it in the neck.

Anyway with those outs what i think we should have gone with.

Broad - Miller - Trezise
Smith - Blight - Rioli

HRS - Hopper - Brown
Nankervis - McAuliffe - Prestia

Bolton - Balta - Bauer
Mansell - Kossie - Green

Baker - Dow - Campbell -Banks.

Taranto inj = McAuliffe, Vlastuin inj =Trezise, Graham inj = Dow, Sonsie omit = Campbell, Short omit =Smith, McIntosh omit = Bauer,
Ryan omit = Blight,

Vlastuin and Taranto can't be replaced but the rest of the replacements are mostly upgrades based on form.

Well who would have thought the kids would get such a good go , it’s great , kids get experience and if they haven’t go it, the door and we get the first pick , sounds like a good plan

Why is everyone so excited about pick 1 in an even draft. None of our premiership players came from pick 1.

It's like dancing with your sister.

I'd rather not finish last, but that's me.

Young trio return to line-up

By Richmond Media

Richmond has added three youngsters to its line-up for Saturday night's clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.

Talented forward Seth Campbell returns to add to the 15 career games he's played this year, after the second-year Tiger was managed in Round 18.

Meanwhile, Thomson Dow and Kaleb Smith have been recalled to the senior side after strong performances in the VFL Tigers' win over reigning premier Gold Coast last Sunday.

Nineteen-year-old defender Smith racked up 22 disposals, nine tackles, seven rebound-50s and five marks in the victory, an outing VFL coach Steve Morris described as "a class above".

"The work that Kaleb is putting in at the footy club each and every morning is certainly paying off," Morris said.

"His cleanliness with his hands really stood out... He's in great form."

Midfielder Dow also amassed 22 disposals, to go with four clearances and three marks.

"Thomson was really good again for us. I’m loving what he's bringing to our team," Morris said of Dow.

"He's a great teammate, and he certainly got to work on the inside with 14 contested possessions."

The inclusions replace Nick Vlastuin, who is out with a back complaint, Jack Graham, who will miss with a minor hip issue, and Tim Taranto, who suffered a concussion in last Sunday's loss to GWS.

Vlastuin will be fit to return to face Collingwood in Round 20, while Graham is also a solid chance to be back for the MCG clash.

Richmond’s three emergencies are Noah Cumberland, Matt Coulthard and Jacob Blight.

Speaking to the media on Thursday morning, senior coach Adem Yze said Saturday night's match was an opportunity for the Tigers to "test (themselves) against a finals type-team in a hostile environment".

"(Port Adelaide's) strong in the contest and their stoppage numbers are top four in the comp," he said.

"We understand that's something we need to be mindful of... We're going to go over there and try to match them in that area.

"Their ball movement is really fast... and at home, they're obviously in really good form.

"We can't wait to get over there."
