Sunday 3:20 Marvel
This has been my hardest year ever with footy stupid rules stupid timeslots to much PC crap our fall from grace
Made all our home games bar a couple
just so disenchanted with the whole schmozzle
Pass again - working in between nights for Hawks match might make an effort

Definitely be at the last game - to see the era finally put to rest
And kinda looking forward to a rebuild and seeing if we can still be the Mighty Tigers

If you’re still invested in this season - I take my hat off to you .

Think most of us are hanging out for the trade period and draft night .

The only interest I have is hoping Essendon and Carlton bomb out and miss finals .

Been a hard year personally, scheduling, health, weather.

Don't think I've ever attended less games.

Not from want of love for my club though.

I'll try to get there for the last 2 games. There may be some champions to farewell. Hope you all join me.

Richmond v St Kilda Preview

Tom Williams
SEN
8 Aug 2024

Although St Kilda is coming off a heavy 85-point loss to Brisbane last week, the recent form of the Saints has been pleasing having won three of their last five matches.

With impressive wins over Sydney, West Coast and Essendon all coming in July, it seems easier to trust the Saints than it is to trust Richmond this week. That is despite a couple of horror losses when scoring just 39 against both the Crows and the Lions.

The Tigers seem to struggle at Marvel Stadium with their last victory under the roof coming under Damien Hardwick in Round 9, 2021.

Adem Yze’s men have not been on the winners’ list since their clash with Adelaide in early July and currently sit on the bottom of the ladder with just two wins for the season.

After a big week at Punt Road on the back of Richmond great Dustin Martin’s retirement, we may see the Tigers come out firing... or could it have drained the playing group emotionally.

Regardless of which way it goes, the Saints should be able to come away with the four points.

Tip: St Kilda by 19 points.

Part of me is dreading the trade period only because I'm concerned we will cut too deep

Looking forward to the draft, finally early picks

I've been to every game in Victoria (h&a) and travelled interstate twice, so I suppose I've remained "invested".

But have walked away too many times this year questioning effort and that's been the hardest part for me at least

Maybe over critical.

But watching both warm ups. Tigers are walking between drills, very little if at all talking. Saints jpgging, bouncing on toes, yelling out names, pats on back.

I get our season is over, but it's interesting the little things leave you when you cease to be a premiership contender.

I noticed that too. Looked very very flat and the same for the start of the game. There’s plenty for the young guys to play for here…
