Richmond VFL’s line-up is confirmed to take on Sandringham at the Swinburne Centre this weekend, as part of a double-header on Sunday morning.
The VFL Tigers will face Sandringham (St Kilda’s VFL affiliate) at the Swinburne Centre from 11:05am, ahead of the 3:20pm AFL clash between the two sides at Marvel Stadium.
Coming off their third bye-round of the season, the Tigers will look to bounce back from their 11-point loss to the 20th-placed Magpies in Round 18 at the Swinburne Centre.
As part of seven changes, the side will be bolstered by the returning Jack Ross from a long-term foot injury, as well as Oliver Hayes-Brown from concussion protocols.
Liam Fawcett also enters the side after an extended period on the sidelines from a back injury.
Selected with pick no. 43 in the 2023 AFL National Draft, Fawcett, 19, will feature in Tiger colours for the first time on Sunday morning.
Three VFL Tigers also enter the side. Cam Olden joins the returning stand-in co-skipper Chad Harris from concussion protocols, and Archie May from a long-term wrist injury.
Ahead of Sunday morning, the Tigers have named highly-touted 18-year-old Finn O’Sullivan as their 23rd player.
Hailing from the Oakleigh Chargers, O’Suillvan possesses an ability to impact both on the inside and the outside of the contest, and is damaging by foot.
Out of the side is Jacob Bauer (AFL recall), Marlion Pickett (injured), Lachlan Wilson (managed), Harrison White (omitted), Matthew Clarkson (omitted), Ry Cantwell (omitted), Josh Pollocks (omitted).
The first bounce is set for 11:05am at the Swinburne Centre.
The match will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and the VFL App.
