Really tough year for me personally but I think I still made it to 6-8 games. Normally manage all of the home games.

Otherwise a bit of a shame to see the crowds dropping just because the team sucks.

Gotta stick fat like old times.

I just go if I can. The only thing that stops me is junior footy on a Sunday which made this year tough.
I’m an old school, seasoned observer of football mediocrity after a lifetime of following the Tiges.
No point stopping now.

I must admit, I was pretty slack this year.

Looking to lift next year!

Can Kane cornes please explain why the team that finished with the spoon and 2 wins in a 9team town had higher crowd attendances then the team that finished 2nd in a 2 team town?

Poort crowds are lamentable, they’re significantly lower than the Crows who finished 15th.

Media still tried to drive the narrative that we weren’t showing up

Aside from Dusty's 300th

TBBH

The crowds for our last 3-4 home games were disappointing

To have only 35k for our final home game to farewell our greatest player (IMHO) and a great of our Club was incredibly poor

Would have been significantly higher if they were playing imo.

And yet it was 13k more than our avg home ground attendance vs Goldie

So our last 3-4 games had poor crowds and we still had the 4th highest average

Yes,

Dreamtime,  opening round v Carlton, ANZAC eve games to name 3 others = large crowds so increase average numbers

But look at some of our home games in the 2nd half of the season

Rd 24 - 35k

Bulldogs home game IIRC around 39k, during our premiership run that would be around 60k

Our home game against Carlton only 59k (average is around 70-75k)

Rd 18 against GWS under 20k, previously that would have been around 38-40k

Then you have our game against C'wood (away game) less than 60k. In the past it would 70k easily.

People can disagree but facts are our crowds dropped away markedly as the season got worse. Can only imagine what impact it will have on the bottom line, ditto the drop in members

We are going to get a crap draw in 2025. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we drop down the average crowd ladder further.
