Lol Jenkins.

Can't take a bloke seriously who embarrassed himself in biggest of stages and made a small living of kicking goals in the goal square from hand ball receives.

But he is glatong right now because pre-season to somehow become relevant he predicted we'd finish last

He'll milk that for all it's worth for the next 6 months

Nothing we don't know or need to listen to.  because everyone can see our recruiting and drafting the past 5 seasons has been poor.

We have utilised just 16 ND picks in the last 5 years. Only two were inside the top 20. Ten were used from pick 40 onwards.

All bar two are either busts or we are still finding out if they will make it. I think it unfair to be judging the 2023 and 2022 drafts its a bit early.

Still very easy to take shots at Jenkins and just ignore what he has said simply because we don't like it.

Who thinks we have drafted well the last 5 years. Who really believes we have made up for the nd picks with great trades and F/A  takes.

Ah even just two wins and a wooden spoon has failed to take the blinkers of  some.

Here is our list of nd picks from 2019 - 2021

2019
Dow 21  bust
Cumberland 43 bust
Martyn 44 bust
HRS 46 still undecided.
Nyuon 54 Bust

MSD Pickett tick but already gone
Trade Out Butler in pick 56 Bust.

2020
Ryan 40 so far a bust
MRJ 51 borderline likely bust atm
Coliona cat b rookie bust

PSD
Mansell tick but nothing special.
DES bust.

Trades
Out Markov in 2021 F3RD. Even.
out - Higgins, 21, 2021 F4TH. in 17, 2021 F2ND. For what we paid originally probably a loss.
Out - pick 20 to Geelong. In 2021 F 1ST.  Break even at best.

2021

ND
9 Gibcus tick
17 Brown borderline tick.
28 Sonsie bust to date
29 Banks borderline
30 Clarke Bust to date.

R nyuon bust.

MSD
Parker bust

Trades

Out - CCJ 42, 47, F4TH 2022. IN - Tarrant  40, F2ND 2022. Tick.
Out - 38, 40, F3RD 2022, IN - 27. Fail.

2022 AND 2023 Too early but it looks like slim pickings regardless.

It ended up being a great call. Sun even shines on a black dogs awse hole once in a while
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I mean a clock is right once a day. I don't think it was an overly big call. No way were we finishing above bottom 4 anyway.

Yep, it's been pretty ordinary and I agree with most of your assessment there.

Also frustrating to see Geelong took Holmes with our pick in 2020 and he looks an A-grade big-bodied mid IMO.
