LMAO at that downfield

Softest decision I’ve ever seen

Also, and I’ve watched 3 minutes of AFLW all year and have watched Hawks players dive to milk a free kick 4 times .. is this normal ??

Anyway , that’s me done for this year

Horrible
No one is going to defend the umpiring especially in AFLW games. It's disgraceful.

Hawks players are at fault

The diving was a disgrace

Made Ginnivan’s diving prowess appear second rate

TBF - without dodgy umpiring the AFLW there'd only be like 3 goals every game - (which according to some is  perfectly fine because *checks notes* soccer is really popular) :shh

Final Score

Richmond   0.1    1.2     2.4     3.5-23
Hawthorn   0.2    1.5     2.6    6.10-46

Goal: Shevlin, Lynch, Yassir

Last 10 mins was soft. We just caved. It's hard to see us winning a final in any case. Our gameplan is flawed (similar to the men's) and is exposed under pressure and we have too many passengers and too many who can't remain composed and keep their head.

Not going to disagree with that but the standard of umpiring in AFLW is woeful every week. Add the AFL's hatred of Richmond and we get screwed most games. Only time it was decent and fair was when Razor Ray umpired one of our games earlier in the season.

Out coached yet again.

No chance of winning a final if our coach refuses to do anything about the opposition transitioning out of defence without any pressure

Why are the girls in a Dreamtime jumper this week ?

Can’t be Dreamtime week again ??

Is there something wrong with the normal jumper ?

Like men's comp Damo

Indigenous round is spread over 2 weeks

Stock standard umpiring display today. Pathetic sub-standard crap. There's not a doubt in my mind that standard of umpiring impacts on scoring.

If you think the Hawks diving is bad you need to watch Brisbane and N0rt

Simple, we are not fit enough and not skilled enough and if we want to take the next step next year we really need to fix these two issues to compete with the better teams.

Don't agree with the not fit enough but do agree about the skills

The one thing you forgot is the game plan, tone exact the defensive side of our game, far too often it is non existent on opposition transition

This team is going nowhere fast. Richmond 2013-15 era. Maybe good enough to make finals but are pretenders of the highest order. One of the softest draws you’ll see and only made the 8 by half a game.

This is the coaches 5th season and we have no recognisable identity in terms of game plan and whoever is in charge of the list is leaving holes in key positions.

Like men's comp Damo

Indigenous round is spread over 2 weeks

Confusing
Hawthorn appeared to be playing in a non-indigenous jumper

So it will be 5 weeks since playing in the traditional strip

Hopefully the girls know what it looks like

Side note - I thought the Hawks jumper looked sensational (when they weren’t diving for free kicks)

I watched today’s game and also watched the games vs Essendon, Nord and Melbourne. You can make up all the excuses in the world but we just aren’t that good.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

That isn't their normal jumper. Their normal jumper is like the men's brown & gold stripes.

Nearly all AFLW side have worn their Indigenous guernseys this week.

For the list we have, we should be alot better.

The 4 games you've mentioned there is 1 constant, being out coached

Not disputing we played badly.

But when the coach refuses to make any changes to stop the opposition transition out of defence with zero pressure then that's on him.

We sends everyone forward of centre bar one player and allows the opposition to have no 1 but 3 spares than that's on the coach.

That you get interviewed lat qtr time (last week) and say the opposition is getting to many uncontested marks and don't bother to do anything about it until the final qtr, then sorry that's on the coach.

Ferguson is very much like Dimma in that he is so stubborn he refuses to make any changes and revert to plan "b"

I've said a number of times when our game style comes off we are brilliant to watch but when it isn't working then we are crap and it's up to the coach to change it up. He rarely does until it is far too late

So now we are off to Adelaide next week for our elimination final
