Are we even going to be able to name any of our draftees from last season for round 1 at this stage?
Bloody hope so. watching them is about the only thing I am looking forward to this year

Trainor should at least play (until he gets another head knock and is forced to retire from AFL) :shh

We hope so but this is far from certain given he is recovering from a concussion and fractured jaw.

I am extremely confident

He will be out of protocols

The jaw? Hair Iine fracture with a plate... reckon it's pretty strong

Will be staggered if he doesn't play

Is that more of that cautious approach you said we were taking now? :shh

Yze's tiger cub watch - Josh Smillie

“Really similar (to Lalor). He’s been a captain of Vic Metro and most of the teams he’s played for he’s been a captain. And that’s shining through as well. He’s a big body. They (Smillie and Lalor) are men, they’re ready to play. He’s obviously had a little bit of a hiccup (hamstring issue), but up until then he hadn’t missed a beat. They (Smillie and Lalor) have been sponges, walking around the building. They’re learning off our older players, which is awesome.”

How long do we have to wait to see this kid play?

When his hammy is healed completely that will allow him to get through a game without re-injuring it

Expect him tocpme back via the VFL

Josh Smillie will not debut for Richmond this week, instead the club will condition him through the VFL with the club aiming for Round 4-5 for a Smillie debut.

Your assuming he knows

He big notes that he knows but alot of stuff he posts on X, you can read elsewhere on social media

He supposedly works in recruiting/ player management
