Apparently a big standout at preseason training this year. I really hope he gets more senior game time because I feel he offer the team another asset we don't already have with his marking, ball use and x-factor up forward.

Hes a forward but has great attributes for a mid role. Crafty is a good word for him and is a goal kicker the signs are great and we really should be prioritising him.
Hotton our Bolton replacement in some ways. Mansell our pressure forward with some toughness and experience.  add in we can change it up with Lalor and Cumming lots of mids to rotate thru there if we wish. This structure allows us to play Campbell wherever we like. Personally i think Seth most suited to wing not sure ive mentioned that before hah, but he also has the attributes for high hf and hb.

The other one we drafted Peucker watched a bit of him thru highlights and what have you and there is something there as well a bit of power and high impact think the smalls we have taken the last two drafts have been great picks.

Personally and im not usually loud about optimism but we have the makings of a good 22 we just need to now build depth and competition

Alger played mid a bit in the u18 and did well.

Another Richmond youngster is catching the eye this pre-season.

Jasper Alger (FWD, $230,000) has been a "standout" for the Tigers this summer, according to assistant coach Chris Newman.

"Jasper's another one that's really impressed this summer," Newman told Richmond Media.

"He's one of those guys that has that footy chip and knows how to play, particularly tall and small.

"He is really good in the air and at ground level. He's presented really well from pre-season and some of the training sessions that we've had, he's been a standout."
