It’s a hard thing to rank players in order so I will segment into:

Best
KB, Maurice Snr, Richo, Dusty
Then
Jack, Rance, Weightman
Next
Raines, Knights, St Francis
Stiff
Cotch, Jimmy Jess, Roach, Shedda
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

That’s v exciting but have a feeling Hotton might trump the lot of them

Strange is one word for it

If you had Richo in Jack’s era and vice versa , it wouldn’t even be a discussion

Richo had a hectare on JR8

That’s a great debate - JR8 had the foot smarts, Richo the breathtaking athleticism but honestly reckon the man would have kicked 300 or 400 more had he played for Essendon or the Roos during that period so hard to disagree!

There is one reason for Richo not making my list.  It isn't really his fault, but, there's one thing that Richo didn't do that every other player on the list did ...  hands on buzzers ... go!
