Blight with groin tightness. So may be in doubt.

Fire away with your changes, if any?

Koshitski for Blight because there's literally no-one else, Sims for Lynch who'll likely be suspended though will probably be Ryan. :shh

I'm surprised they're saying groin tightness. Thought it was his knee they way it buckled in that marking contest

Anywho

No change if their all available

If Blight is an out

I'd bring in Gray. Need to blood all the Cubs at some point

2nd ruck situation was bad yesterday. Need someone who can legit go for the 10-15% of time nank is resting and would much rather give sims a go then Samson.

Expecting Blight to play

Young defender Tom Blight impressed before having to leave the field in the third term with a sore groin. Yze does not expect he will miss any games.

Team Tips:

Following one of the Tigers’ most memorable home-and-away wins in quite some time, there won’t be too many — if any — unforced changes made by Adem Yze and co. at selection this Thursday as they prepare to face the reeling and vulnerable Power.

Richmond will challenge the one-match suspension handed down to Tom Lynch for his bump on Tom De Koning, but if that challenge proves unsuccessful and he misses a match, ruck-forward Samson Ryan, untried second-year tall Liam Fawcett and draftee Tom Sims shape as the main considerations for replacement.

Key defender Jacob Blight was substituted out with ‘groin tightness’, and while it isn’t feared to be a serious injury, swingman Jacob Koschitzke looms as his replacement if necessary.

Tyler Sonsie was the substitute against the Blues and did some nice things, but given the solid performances of Thomson Dow, Sam Banks, James Trezise and more, he may be limited to that same role against the Power.

The Tigers have to replace spearhead Tom Lynch, who is serving a one-match suspension.

"We'll look at that today, whether it's like-for-like, or whether we go down a different model," Yze said.

"But it's really hard to cover for Lynchy. He's an amazing player and a great leader.

"... Someone's going to have to step up and lead in the front end. We're going to be really young in our front end this week."

In the mix - Round 2

Blight will be touch and go for this weekend, battling a sore adductor/groin. Faull (back) is still on the injury list, having only played managed minutes in last Friday's VFL practice match. He'll remain on limited game time for the next few weeks. If Blight is unavailable for Saturday's match against Port Adelaide, the Tigers could bring in Jacob Koschitzke, hand a debut to Campbell Gray or send James Trezise to a more defensive role and name Kaleb Smith. Lynch is challenging his one-match ban on Tuesday night, with Samson Ryan or potential debutant Liam Fawcett the options to replace him if the suspension is upheld.
