Half-time

Richmond    3.1      6.4-40
Brisbane      4.5    10.6-66

Goals: Campbell 2, Taranto, Green, Banks, Lalor

Effort is there but as expected we're being outclassed. They bat so deep compared to us.

Can’t fault the effort and we’ve gifted them some really easy goals .

There's something wrong with our defensive transition.  Teams are just getting through our zone so easily.

Our overuse by hand that quarter killed us. Brisbane was waiting for it, and then we were wide open on the turnover. The Banks one at HB was worst example. He had Broad open at CHB to kick to, but Banks instead handballs to a teammate who was a sitting duck, and the ball gets turned over and the Lions goal.

Happy with that outcome.

Would like Dow to go.

Elsewise plenty to be optimistic about.

Final Score

Richmond    3.1      6.4      9.8    13.12-90
Brisbane      4.5    10.6    16.8    18.10-118

Goals: Campbell 2, Lalor 2, Green 2, Banks 2, Armstrong 2, Taranto, Lynch, Blight.

Could have been another 10+ goal flogging but we fought it out right to the end which was pleasing to see. A number of the cubs showed promising signs. Our midfield is our main weakness, but we all knew that already. It's most likely going to be our focus in this year's draft.

Whilst I am glad we fought it out. I never like losing a home game easily at the MCG.

mostly pleased with the effort when compared to that rubbish last week.  I trhink Greene is a keeper, and Sonsie is entering the thomson dow terrritory.

Not done with him yet, but if he is performing like that after 50  games its see ya later.

The rest of the kids are showing great signs.
