What’s the chances his father was using his influence to get such a good deal for his son.
I thought they would delist him before he found some form as a backman.
I bet Carlton had a collective sigh now he’s out the door and they will get a decent pick

It'll be at least band 2 so around P22-25.

Band 1 would be stuffing BS for a player like him.

I think it’s a great outcome for everyone;-
Carlton will most likely get band 1 and stuff up the pick
St Kilda will now lose Wilkie which means they are now no better off and probably could’ve kept Wilke for less
The Pies succession plan for Howe has been shot to bits and that little smug piece of crap looks like an idiot 6 weeks after claiming he had him

It’s beautiful
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

If St Kilda does not get into the top 4 next year with the recruits they have got it has to be seen as a failure

The Western Bulldogs offer for Cal Wilkie is more than $1 million per year across four years. Just less than $4.5 million all up.

Wilkie has two years remaining on his deal at the Saints and is seen as a future captain, but it won't stop the Dogs from having a crack.

West Coast’s Liam Ryan is believed to have handed in a trade request expressing his desire to play for St Kilda.

Having told Eagles officials that he wanted to leave the club this week, the Saints have been heavily linked with the small forward, reportedly offered him a three-year deal, earning an average of $600,000 across the deal.

That also includes a trigger for a fourth year on that deal.
