Free to Samson 25 out. Toner plays on and puts it through but no advantage is paid. Samson set shot misses. Thanks ump!

McCarthy wins the HTB on the point of the F50. Set shot is too narrow and OOTF. Needed to put it out front of the goals to let the breeze bring it back in.

We're wasting chances.

George long and Samson marks again 30 out. Misses again.

You need to aim for the inside of the goalpost on the opposite side to where you sre shooting from.

Samson intercept mark 45 out but he tries centering it and the kick is too high and spoiled. Another chance wasted  .


Brisbane run it up the other end for a goal.

Stuffed around with handball in the middle when we have the breeze. Allow Brisbane in and they end up with a shot after the siren. Lucky they miss.

First 10 mins very good then just wasted chance after chance with the breeze for the rest of the quarter combined with two brainfades that gifts the Lions both their goals.

Smillie quiet so far. A couple of good vision handballs in traffic from inside to a free teammate on the outside.

Samson on top as ruck forward for most of that 1st qtr but wasted his chances in front of the sticks. Could have had 4 goals already if he could kick straight.
