I disagree.

It wasn't racist one iota.
You need to read up on your definitions WP.

Also, if you don't have a sense of humour doesn't mean it isn't funny. It means you don't have a sense of humour.

Btw. The question was how did I break any rules exactly?

You'll have to explain it exactly please because I still don't understand how it can be viewed as racist and or disrespectful exactly?

P.S. This will be a bar you're setting for this forum and like the umpires in AFL you'll have to adjudicate the same every time, without the need for the "spectator" to remind you.
What's funny is how one doesn't have to be asked for you to judge when it's subjectively offensive to absolutely no one on this forum.

How can you suggest that "absolutely no one on this forum" was offended. Seriously,  how would you know?

Suggest you read up on your definitions...

Why the need to drag in certain groups religious ideology and mock them , degrade them under the pretence of it being a joke?

You have done it previously and hindsight being a wonderful we probably should have taken action then. So that's on us and I'll wear that.

I've explained why it was removed, clearly you don't like the answer.

What one person finds offensive another doesn't ... It's one of the great thing about living in democracy

Example

There's been alot of homophobic slurs that get have been posted on here that I find offensive

But the majority of them don't get removed... Why? Because (1) others don't find them offensove and I have to respect that and (2) sometimes leaving it says more about the person posting...on a number of levels

You didn't answer my question. How did I break any rules? And how was it racist?

It seems you didn't think it was funny and you personally found it offensive for some reason.

How?  What was offensive about it to you? How did my post rile your heart? How were you impacted by it?

I was happy to have this discussion privately but you obviously want to keep this conversation going.  :help

:help

1/ You were the one who started this conversation on the forum rather than making it private.

2/ you say I didn't answer your question but funny how you didn't answer mine. I asked "How can you suggest that "absolutely no one on this forum" was offended. Seriously, how would you know?" You didn't answer that; you ignored it. You are basing your entire objection to your post being removed on my supposed view on it.

3/ How was it racist? You mocked, belittled and degraded a religious ideology by making a joke thinking it was funny. That is a form of racism. I'm glad Dio dredged up a post I made nearly 6 years ago as it actually highlights your hypocrisy. When people mocked Christianity; your religion you were offended. When you do it though; it's OK because it's funny, doesn't offend.

4/ Finally, you are correct I didn't find the post at all funny. But to suggest that your post was removed solely because of my views is drawing a very long bow. But whatever....

Good of you to bring this up. As I mentioned above it certainly highlighted the hypocrisy in the complaint about a post being removed.

And perhaps in hindsight I should have considered this "sometimes leaving it says more about the person posting...on a number of levels"

Well very true but I offered to have a private conversation and you decided to keep it public.

2/ you say I didn't answer your question but funny how you didn't answer mine. I asked "How can you suggest that "absolutely no one on this forum" was offended. Seriously, how would you know?" Ok. I'm not absolutely sure no one was offended, but the general law of probability and this forums general makeup of members and getting a feel for the overall quality responses I deduced that there would be no one except the unfunny, virtue signalling, humourless, woke Nazi's moderator like yourself that would have been offended by my humorous attempt at satire. Also if it was racist to anyone why was the other post not removed?  :shh or maybe no one was offended  :shh :shh

3/ How was it racist? You mocked, belittled and degraded a religious ideology by making a joke thinking it was funny. That is a form of racism. I didn't mock anyone personally. A religion isn't a race. I didn't say anything about anyone's race one iota.
I posted a link to a national news service (abc news) that brought names to the alleged offenders. I used satire to try to get a laugh. Whether it was funny or not is completely subjective. Unfortunately the woke Nazi regime in this forum likes to delete posts and continue to allow other posts. This has been a pattern since I started here. Mine were deleted or edited but you continued to allow other forms of offensive content and only changed it because I called out the hypocrisy.
So am I hypocritical considering my stance, absolutely!
But I will wear it to stress the blatant double standards that suit the ridiculousness of the self righteous virtue signalling to suit a particular narrative but that couldn't actually give an actual crap about it when it's offensive to "Christians".

4/ Finally, you are correct I didn't find the post at all funny. But to suggest that your post was removed solely because of my views is drawing a very long bow. But whatever....

I'll have to take your word for it but I'm skeptical for the same reason you didn't delete other "offensive" post but clearly pick and choose.

If you just considered sticking to the stance you spoke about 6 years ago and were consistent about "living in a democracy" then maybe I just keep my mouth shut and live with the consequences of true "freedoms of speech" but that would mean nothing gets censored which would be absolutely fine by me as long as there was absolutely consistency across the board.

I’m not convinced that likening the moderators to the Nazis will aid anyone's argument that their posts are being unfairly deleted.

Woke nazis?

Here you go

To use the term nazi in any form is highly offensive to me. Yep me, is that what you were after?

But I'll let it slide because it's obviously made you feel better, maybe even vindicated

Don't really care to be honest, have a few more pressing things to deal with

Okay, I've been in Qld visiting family this past week and was time and access restricted to just simply posting news articles.

Sorry, but this bold comment especially is laughable given we as mods respected your own request long ago to not have the Lord's name used in vain on the forum because you told us it was offensive to you and your faith. Yet you now turnaround and insult us same mods calling us now "hypocritical" and "woke nazis" FFS ::) because we simply removed a single post that was against the guidelines (it was irrelevant to the footy topic as no religion was mentioned in that article so why bring it up?! Pretty sure it wouldn't have if the two idiots didn't have 'ethnic' names).

Anyway, I'm too peeed off today and won't be adding anymore to this thread.
