Just an observation not really about our performance.

Does Kelly Underwood know who the players are?

I don't know many commentators that consistently get the players names wrong so often.

Late to the party

I said this early in the 2nd

Is there a more annoying caller than Kellie Underwood?

Called Miller, Sonsie :help

Play by play she is the worst by a mile

Apologies didn't read the thread.

She clearly doesn't studies the player numbers enough.

Really poor second half. Hopefully Lynch okay. Missed Lalor. Short should be dropped

How’d the gun Campbell go today ???
Cap gun ?

And people potting Hopper LOL, tried his ring out

In a forward line that kicked 7 goals?

Gee you're quick to jump on him mate.

I think you're being unreasonable.

He was pathetic today.
I actually don’t mind him as a player at all in general.

Think he can be one of the B graders in our next good side

Just don’t think he’s a “gun”.

A big win for the Dockers, who dominated territory (inside 50 entries 65-36) through winning clearances (44-33) and generating forward half intercepts (27-11). The better ball movement of Fremantle resulted in a major advantage in points scored from turnovers (70-20).

Fremantle generated 20 of the last 23 scores in this game and kicked 12 of the last 13 goals in a dominant performance after a bright start from Richmond.

AFL Report Card - Round 5

Will Faulkner, Catherine Healey, Ben Cotton and Ben Waterworth
Foxsports
14 April 2025

RICHMOND

A similar story for the Tigers for the third straight week: Competitive in the first half – and somewhat within striking distance on the scoreboard – then blown away emphatically in the second half. It reeks of a young, rebuilding team developing maturity, both physically and emotionally. After trailing by just 10 points at half-time, Richmond managed one goal in the second half and conceded six unanswered majors in the third term on its way to a 61-point loss.

In the votes

Skipper Toby Nankervis was the best ruck on the ground with 17 touches and five clearances, while Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper worked hard at the coalface. And there were promising signs from the Tigers’ two young defenders, with Luke Trainor and Tom Brown impressing with 22 and 24 touches respectively.

Room for improvement

Coach Adem Yze said the Tigers needed to work on their “mental mastery” after the stark second-half drop-off. On Sunday against Fremantle, it was the fourth straight match that saw Richmond concede six third-quarter goals, so something needs to change for Yze’s side coming out of the half-time break. Meanwhile, Jack Ross had just 12 disposals, while Tom Lynch kicked just one goal from five touches.

Grade
