Well just another poor game really. To keep perspective, we have already won more games than we expected for the whole year. It’s hard to remain positive when the leaders play poorly though (vlastuin, lynch, short, hopper,Taranto) on top of them, banks, Dow and Ross have been really bad imo. Ross gets a go in the twos for me, has been really average since rd 1. Let sonsie or anyone else play his role

Maurice's 'effort' then summing up our second half. Substandard and unacceptable at this level. Mind you he has had plenty of teammates in the same boat.

The disappointing thing is Melbourne aren't that good. It's just been pitiful by us and dull as. The type of performance that won't encourage people to turn up next week. We know we're young and not going to win too many games, but we at least expect the team to have a dip. To dish this up on Anzac Eve just makes it all the more worse.

We’re getting bullied and Nank has had his pants pulled off and waved around the MCG by Gawn.

Lovely kick by Ross to Lynch for goal.

Not that it saves his game and even Lynch is just cashing in on junk time.

I think they’ve had a crack, there’s still good effort imo. Just horrible skills and decision making and positioning really. Melbourne are reading us like a book. How many times we kicked to a contest with Gawn ? Basic stuff

How we played McIntosh as the second ruck is laughable too.

Scoreboard will flatter us but what a show of fight. If they gave up we would all bag them for it so give them some credit, never gave up tonight

We can't be happy with that.
A loser mentality performance for mine.
Effort wasn't at the level.

Just got sonned by Gawn. Could see the difference when he went off half way through the second or they prob just put the cue in the rack or both.

Glad they kick scoring but agree the result flattered us. Better than being rolled by 100 (hyperbole) points instead.

Some tired players out there tonight who I hope dish up something better next round.

We’re getting bullied and Nank has had his pants pulled off and waved around the MCG by Gawn.

Yeah he has and often does, hard to blame Nank though, it's not like he isn't trying lol. Undersized ruck playing on probably the best ruck of the current generation.
