Lalor has done his hammy  :(

Crap night of footy.
8-12 week injury with our medical team at Tigerland.

Plus 3-6 weeks of TBC

I've seen enough of Green & Rioli.

Surely this is the end for MRJ
It can’t be excused or ignored anymore

Reckon all our small forwards have been pathetic tonight. Continually lost in no man's land.

Yep. We look like a young side coming off a 5-day break. No juice at all left in the tank in the last quarter.

Get the ball Rhyan
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Can’t think of a single positive from that game.

Crap performances all round.

2 games we could have won with a bit of polish and consistency. Had some really good periods of ball movement.

Can I say. Sam Lalor is a superstar, playing him out of FF is absolutely disgustingly stupid. Stop doing it Yze. Now he's done a hammy bring him back in midfield rotation for God's sake. He's not undersized like Dow has been for 5 years. Develop him properly he's not a full forward.
Go Tigers!

Final Score

Richmond    1.2    4.7     7.8    8.10-58
Essendon    2.1    6.4     9.8   11.15-81

Goal: Taranto 2, Lalor 2, Ralphsmith 2, Faull, Mansell.

Forgettable game. One of the worst standard AFL matches I've ever seen. Hard to find a positive aside from the cubs getting another game under their belt to learn from. Brown was classy and showed up his teammates with his footskills. Broad was one of our best. Gray did his job. Midfield got smashed. Young forward line as expected struggled although our smalls did themselves no favours. First half we didn't take our chances. Second half was lamentable aside from the middle patch in the 3rd where we manufactured 3 goals to grab the lead. Whether it was the 5-day break, we wilted in the last quarter. Lalor doing his hammy just topped a lousy night.

Only good thing is Essendon will delude themselves once again but finish in mid-ladder no man's land.

Essendons 80 year old ruckman just soundly beat our 24 year old in every facet of the game. Still 2.5 more years to run on that contract too.

100%
2 possession from 78 minutes on the field catching a cold in the goal square when we couldn't hit a target all night. Just a waste.
