Nothing against the kid - I’m a big fan already but I think it’s time to rest Faull and bring in Mykelti .

Was thinking the same the last two weeks but hopefully with the bye he's fresh and ready to go.

I'd consider Mykelti for Sims. Just not sure Sims is ready enough but the exposure is still good for him.

In the Mix: Round 15

Short requires an additional week on the sidelines, having not moved through his calf tests as expected. Lalor has returned to high-speed running, and has been earmarked for a return straight into the ones when ready. The No.1 pick virtually skipped the mid-season bye, attending the club for training alongside Armstrong and Gibcus. The club says Gray’'s knee "didn’t respond well to [running] at all", and more time is needed for swelling to settle before a timeline is determined. Jasper Alger (3.2 from 16 in his last VFL game) is one who could come into the frame for an AFL debut, the small forward having been an emergency in a few recent games. Rhyan Mansell was subbed off in the third term after just two touches against Sydney. Hotton is likely to make his VFL debut this week, having overcome an ACL injury suffered in his draft year.

Really relieved that Short is still injured, hate to say it and be so rude.

Keen to see Alger debut and Hotton play VFL.

Lefau isn’t exactly banging the door down in the 2’s.

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

He was pulled out of the last VFL game at half time to be the emergency first the AFL, so I reckon he's close

Sims is averaging 8 disposals and 0.3 of a goal per game and Faull is similar from 9 games (straighter kicking for goal might have helped that stat.
Lefau averaging 10 disposals and a goal in the 2’s. As I said, not exactly banging the door down here.

Are you watching the VFL games?

His physical presence is massive compared to Sims and Faull.

Forget the stats. I'd play him and Lynch with a kid.

I am not watching the vfl but don’t tell me jacob blight doesn’t deserve a shot ahead of folau.
Put Balta forward and Blight down back. Be a presence but have an impact and kick more than a goal a game lefau

Well for starters Israel Folau was a seriously poo AFL player hehehe.

No I think Blight deserves a game and I've been saying this very clearly in other threads. I just don't think he should play forward.

I'd like to see both Lefau and Blight in the team to rest Sims/Faull and Trainor. The club has subbed Trainor off twice in the last few games or so - if the kids is tired just rest him IMO.

Blight just doesn’t have the skills for afl imo.

Have people forgotten just how bad balta looked as a forward?

We have lynch, 4 young kpfs that we should be getting as many games we can into and then Israel Folau for depth/rotation.

Too early to be calling this IMO. He's played 8 games and been passed around the field more than my ex wife.

Still reckon he's a chance down back with Balta, Miller and Trainor. I think we can play all 4 if Trainor plays on a small.

Geez Folau needs some games as well with Lynch in his final hurrah. He's a mature body and can ruck a bit too.
