Yup him and brown were the 2 standouts for me. Midfield got killed by that’s hardly on him. Don’t want to see him in the vfl again.

Thought he was our best TBBH

BTW,  the HUN and Age have him with 5 tackles

Mid field of
Campbell - Taranto - Brown.
Nankervis - McAuliffe - Prestia No harm in trying it. Could bring in Trezise to play across hb and Trainor goes back to where he has played his best footy so far to third tall in defense.

McAuliffe tracking along nicely.

I think that's a lineup for next year. Claws line works well for 2025. Mind you brown has been playing well off half back.

Hopper stays in the guts , can't play anywhere else- Taranto moves forward. :shh

And therein is one of the major problems of our list, our young midfielders aren’t ready to play midfield full time and even then there’s no guarantee they’re effective and our experienced midfielders just aren’t that good. Hopper and Taranto are the same as Mitchell and O’meara were for the hawks. Lots of people giving hopper his flowers this season and he has been an okay extractor at times but geez he has no poise with ball in hand, slams it on the boot nearly every time. Minimal damage

You should rotate about 8 through the midfield ( on ballers) , there’s plenty of  opportunity for most of our mids to show enough through rotation.
A forward flank can also play the game like the running machine  Kane Lambert who was critical to our game in the glory years , and wingman is also an extension of the midfield .

How about Reid, Lalor, Hopper and rotate with Meatie, Hotten and Butters in 2027

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Good luck getting two more seasons out of Prestia. :shh

Use him more as a sub. Why can’t we extend his career like the Pies are doing with Jamie Elliot who looked cooked 2 years ago.
