They're expecting a crowd of 70,000 according to The Australian:
Quote
The Magpies are expected to add to their list of blockbusters this Sunday, with up to 70,000 people predicted to attend the (away) match against Richmond at the MCG.

1. Tiges by 20    (We've owned the Maggies something like 13-6 since 1994  :thumbsup

2. Pettifer set shot from 40 out on a 45 degree angle  ;).

3. Sarge a lazy half dozen

4. Sarge, Blingers, Simmo best on ground

5. How many free kicks will Didak receive for diving?   2 with Tarrant not far behind

6. Crowd: 75,000  - If we're by any chance well in front at 3/4 time take off 30,000. Those "loyal" Pie fans don't stick around. One of the best sights in footy though lol.

7. 1 flag in 47 years - how can you not laugh at the poor deluded souls :rollin

I thought 63,000 was abit disappointing. Rain stuffed us but we got a good gate (cash) and we got the points and I suppose thats what counts.

It was hard to tell the split of fans as the Pies didn't have much to cheer about lol but it sounded and looked like a pro-Tigers crowd where we was sitting (top of the Northern stand on the wing).

Considering the weather I thought it was pretty good crowd.

First thing Sunday morning I thought there goes the 75-78k  ;) there was no way the MCC & AFL members were going to go out in that sort of weather  ;D
