Our "tackling" technique on display there for everyone to see once again :facepalm.

Sorry it should have HTB

Yes overall our tackling is poor

But geez it would be nice to get rewarded to occasionally

Guarantee if it was the other way we'd get pinged
Stevens broke the tackle(s) IMHO. Should never have got through us.

He should have been pinged. As I said if it was the other way, our players would have pinged

Oh and BTW

HRS out for the rest of the game....hamstring  ;D

The wheels have fallen right off and we're clearly the worst side in it, and we won't even have pick #1... or pick #2.

Maurice goal. Agree he deserved that.

29 - 102

Why ?
He went 1.5 quarters without touching the thing

He ran around like a mad man for 15 mins in the first quarter and looked excellent.

Since then he’s proven exactly why he will never be a full time AFL midfielder.

TANK
Never said he was a full-time mid. By the way, the whole midfield has been smashed for the past month.

Aside from the 2nd qtr when the whole team couldn't touch the ball, Rioli has been busting his backside off.

Bit hard to get the ball when you are plonked in our fwd line?

Not sure why they didn't put him the middle more in 2nd and 3rd

The experienced players are making the worst mistakes - turning it over, making crap decisions &  generally panicking like overawed kids. :banghead

Encroachment 50.  What a great rule.

Yep. No impact on the player with the ball but he gets 50. It's the dumbest rule ever introduced  :banghead.

Seriously how is that 50.  But more importantly why is it 50?
Make it make sense.  He was no where near him and not affecting any thing.  Madness

The ump said Mansell encroached into the 10m area before play on was called.

The umps give Geelong all the time of day to move the play on (Mansell was expecting the ump to call Martin to play on) but there's been a number of times tonight when we've been called play on as soon as we take the mark.
